"My opinion is the only one that should be valued anyway." He chirped haughtily.
"Drugs are a phenomenon that have swept over the world in a very large way. Some may argue whether or not the impact is positive or negative, since this a matter of opinion, I take it to be a bad outcome. It breaks people down to their lowest points, an ongoing cycle in desperate hopes to once again achieve that first high. It turns men into mangy strays. These dense people are certain they have control over their addiction, when really, they do not. The drugs have completely consumed their life, and have not only hurt them, but all those around them.
Religion; another world-wide phenomenon that has ruined more lives than it has helped. People finding their fate sicken me. It is a huge sign of codependency when a person would look for a figment of their imagination for an excuse for their misdeeds, or even for support. Study the theory of evolutionism thoroughly and how mankind came to an existence.
The very first religions were established anywhere between 200,000 and 400,000 years ago when Homo Sapiens—the ancestor of all humankind—walked the Earth. They were made out of fear. Some androgynous overbeing was watching them, they would scream to the skies in hopes that it would help them. In my opinion, he have not much changed since then. It induces fear into the impressionable minds, giving them guidelines into living a certain way, or shall they face divine punishment. Tch, pitiful. Like ants they scatter themselves and go against their natural human instincts to appease these make-believe Gods.
Now, finally, friendship. I myself have never had the need for them. Many have valued me as a friend, but they were simply mislead and did not know how to read people correctly. It is a relationship of sorts I do not mind seeing. Although, as humans are, it is very fragile. The slightest of provocation can severe even the closest of friends apart. It requires plenty of patience, time, and understanding of one another. Those efforts would go wasted on someone such as myself. I find it to be tedious and unfulfilling.”
The broker took in a deep breath, “Now then, is that all?”
